The Cutest Home Invader

Here we are in March! My usual 3-month-gap is closing! Now I am only a month and a half behind! Yay! Someday I will officially catch up!
On March 8th I was in the guest bathroom.  I had just taken a shower and all of the sudden, I look down and see the most adorable baby bunny just sitting there on the tile!  I wanted to pick the bunny up and love her and cuddle her, but she would have probably died of fright and I don't care to have her fleas and rabies and whatever else bugs and diseases she carried.  So instead I fed her some carrots, green beans, water, and grass.  The bunny ate the grass.  But the whole "bunny loves carrots" idea is nonsense.  This bunny didn't touch her carrot!   It was so late so I left the bunny in the bathroom for the night.
The next morning she was gone.  I don't know why I thought bunnies couldn't squeeze through the bottom of a door, but duhhh of course they can! I have no clue where the bunny could possibly have hid, but wherever she hid, it was a great hiding spot because we could not find her anywhere! She came out later that evening. I was afraid she would be lost in the house and die and the only way we would ever find her was from the stench of her rotting carcass--PHEW that is NOT what happened thank goodness!! She came out of wherever she was hiding and went back to the same place in the bathroom that I had originally found her.  This time I was smart--I but some grass in a  little box.  She hopped right in and Erik and I righted the box and we had her! We had just tucked Elisa in bed, but we thought that she shouldn't miss this so we woke her up (she was just barely asleep, if that).  She loved the little bunny! We all admired the bunny for a short time, and then took her and her box outside in the backyard so she could be free.  After taking a few pictures, we let her be so she could hop away on her own time.  What a cute adorable bunny! This bunny invader was much better than finding a scorpion invader!

Ian-Selfies!

Ian, being the silly stinker that he is, is OBSESSED with my phone.  Any chance he can get, he takes it and pushes my home button a hundred times, deletes apps, and sends random facebook friends blurry pictures of the carpet.  He also takes a bazillion pictures of the floor, his finger, and the ceiling. Among these garbage pictures are a few precious, adorable pictures of his adorable face.  Granted, I had to delete a TON, but I just love seeing his cute little face show up in my pictures.  I'll take it as a form of payment for his naughtiness.  Here are the best Ian-selfies, taken from September to March!

Random February Happenings

February was a short, fun month! Here are some fun things we did:

Elisa's friend, Kassidy invited us over for a Super Bowl party (rather her mom did).  There was yummy food and Elisa had a ton of fun playing with her friend.  We didn't really know anybody there but it was still a little fun for us. Well, for me since there was food there.  I don't know if Erik had much fun.  He got teased for not drinking, lol.  I didn't care much about watching the Superbowl or who won (I still couldn't tell you who won, cuz that's how much I actually care).  I did enjoy the halftime show though.  Lady Gaga was awesome.
Elisa and Kassidy.  So cute!

I hang out with Ian all day.  Therefore, his adorable little face is captured more often on my phone than the other two.  Here are some cute pictures of Ian in February:
There is a cute little park about 4 houses down from our house.  Ian loves going there, even though he doesn't stay too long.  He gets so excited when I tell him we're going to the park!

A silly miss-matched Ian at the park.  He tries to run straight to the park whenever he's in the front yard.
Just a chillin' and a pickin'

A big-little mommy-helper!

Love that cute little bottom!

Handsome little man

A bottle and a matching teddy bear.  Toddler life is great!

The kids love this bucket.  They loved it so much that it broke and I had to throw it away

Probably not a good idea to tickle him while he's drinking milk, but I just love hearing him laugh!

My silly Gabe made a creation and wanted me to take a picture of him with it.  I don't even know what it is! An igloo? A domino house, I guess!

Silly Elisa at her dance class.  I'm pretty sure this move is not in the recital routine!

We took a trip to Ikea one Saturday in Februaray.  It was Erik's first time (and of course the kid's) and I hadn't been in years.  We needed some funiture for the front room.  Ikea was the cheapest and best quality place that actually had what I wanted.  We got a console/entry way table, an end table, and a coffee table.  We didn't know before we headed off to Ikea that food was free (or, something like that) with any purchase over $100.  We loaded up with whatever food we wanted! It was so much fun.  The food was pretty good, too.
 Feasting on free food!

 In the checkout line

Our new console table!  I went to Ross and bought some decor (the bins we bought at Ikea).  You can kind of see the coffee table in the mirror.  Oh yeah, we bought the mirror there too!

The end table, with the $2.50 lamp I bought at Ross! I just need to find some gold-ish trim to glue on so it doesn't look so plain

While Elisa was away with her friend Kassidy and her family at Castles and Coasters (her mom sent me pics but I stupidly didn't save them to my phone so now they are lost forever), we decided to take Gabie somewhere fun so he wouldn't feel left out.  He chose Chuck-E-Cheese.  It was fun.  We only spent $5 on tokens.  It was sufficient for the amount of time spent and fun that Gabe had! He had fun playing the games, getting tickets, and picking out a couple of little prizes! As a bonus, Ian slept the entire time!

   I love this cute kid!

 Gabe and his prizes!

We took the kids to Subway for dinner, where they were very...well, themselves.  Erik couldn't take it so we left before anyone could get halfway through their sandwich.  It was worth it to get this cute picture of all three of the kids looking and smiling!
