Here are pictures from the last few days of our Utah trip. Ian's 6th birthday was the week after this trip, so we celebrated it! We drove back to my parent's house in Cedar City that Sunday morning, just before noon I believe. We tossed the idea of making a cake for Ian, and I forgot to mention also that Tootsie had a birthday earlier in the month, so it would have been a cake for her too. Well nobody was willing to actually make a cake, so instead we used a cherry pie, I think it was a frozen Marie Calendars that my mom had baked the night before. My mom wanted to give Ian a gift but she didn't have one bought for him, so I decided to find random things around her house to give to Ian--namely candy, two one-dollar bills, some old balls that Aiden had left behind, my old straw that I had left behind on the last trip, and even a polished geode rock that my mom was okay parting with. Ian didn't seem to mind that the gift was just a grab bag of random objects! We had a good time visiting and the kids enjoyed horsing around with eachother:

Its fun to celebrate birthdays with cousins (and Grandma too!)
We tried to line up all the kids and take a picture. Calvin was sleeping, so this was the best we could get.
The Thurber family all together (a rare happening these days!)
We stayed until Erik couldn't stand it anymore lol. Makayla made dinner for us that evening and we had a long drive back home to phoenix the next day, so we left Cedar City to go back to St. George, I can't remember exactly when...probably around 6 or so. Makayla made us Hawaiian haystacks. Yum!

Another round of Happy Birthday! Lucky kid. Birthday celebration #2.
Opening some gifts. I'm pretty sure it was another Mario Lego set!
Fun birthday celebrations and nice pictures of all the cousins and extended family. Ian looked happy!
