Erik and I went to the Piano Guys concert Sept 22. It was the same night as the ward campout, which I was happy to miss, but thankfully some ward members graciously took Ian and Gabe to the campout so they didn't have to miss out. The concert was awesome. The Piano Guys really know how to put on a show. When Elisa was a teeny baby in her baby carrier, about 12 years prior, we paid approximately $13 to see The Piano Guys when they were just starting to take off and they happened to stop by Midwestern University. There was a huge difference between this concert and the concert 12 years ago! They were just performing 12 years ago, this one was a show! They've definitely upped their game and improved their stage acts. They also employed a lot of technology (lights and screens) in their show so that made it really cool too. Erik took a ton of videos, which I have uploaded here. We sat closer to Steven Sharp Nelson than Jon Schmidt, but they were pretty darn good seats and it was super cool to be that close. We drove a ward friend and her daughter to the show too--they got tickets last minute. I wish Elisa could have gone, but she was at a sleepover (as usual) with her friend Jade.

The Piano Guys Concert
Waiting for the show to begin!
The Avenger's Theme
Let it Go/Vivaldi's Winter. My cousin and I once tried to play this one.
Pirates of the Caribbean--the video was funny because they put their own faces in place of the actor's.
Coldplay's Sky Full of Stars
All of Me with some of the cello.
Jon Schmidt's classic upside-down piano playing
Steven showing us how he can compose a layered song with his cello and some recording devices that would playback a riff on a loop so he could record more music over that...all done live.
The tail end of Fur Elise
Beethoven's 5 Secrets with a local kid's orchestra
Waterfall--a required song!
I Want You Bach- a mashup of The Jacksons and Bach
Falling asleep
What was that? Jon tries to dance.
Getting into it!
A Thousand Years
Fight Song/ Amazing Grace pt. 1
Fight Song/ Amazing Grace pt. 2--Out come the bagpipes!
Love Story by Taylor Swift for the encore
