November Cuteness (Getting Bigger!)

November was an important month for Ian--he hit several milestones!  Early November he perfected pulling himself up.  Then he learned to cruise, and then...to crawl!  And now, more than 3 months later, Ian has perfected crawling (and even takes some steps--more posts on that later), but he is basically the same since November, haha! I thought that since he acquired these skills so rapidly, he would be walking at 10 months, but no matter.  He has the rest of his life to walk.  Crawling is a great way to get around anyway!

Here are some somewhat random pictures of Ian from November.  He was 9 months old!  We love him so much!

Standing.

Ian was also transferred to his own crib from our bed.  And not a moment too soon, he was driving us crazy with his wiggles! It was an adjustment for him of course, but now he goes to sleep just fine.  He still wakes up waaaaay too early, but at least he's sleeping through the night now.

Me and my cutie

Giggles!

Enjoying some (finally) nice Houston weather

He crawls! Yay!  Now he's into everything.  I love crawling babies.  They are the cutest!

I couldn't resist taking a picture of these darling feet & toes!  Because someday, he'll have big, stinky, hairy man feet.  But for now, I'm enjoying these tender, sweet toes-ies.
Noisy, silly boy in his car seat.

Sitting.  Happy sitting and sad sitting.  Either way, he's adorable!

Ian's first time in the bicycle trailer.  He was asleep for most of the ride. Also included is some cuteness from goofy Elisa.

A very handsome boy, just like his daddy!

Gabe's First Lost Tooth!

Sometime in October (2015) Gabe's lower right incisor started to wiggle!  I could also tell it was ready to start coming out because of the gap that started to form from the adult tooth under it pushing up.
Here are some pictures of Gab'es mouth before losing the tooth.  You can see the gap:

Just before Halloween, Gabe's tooth finally fell out! He was eating a piece of Starburst while wrestling with little sister, and the tooth popped out! Gabe was so surprised that he started to cry.  Silly Gabe. When he got over the shock of loosing his very first tooth, he was actually very excited about it!  He even wrote the Tooth Fairy a note.  So cute!  I thought the gap in his mouth was pretty darn cute too!  I can't believe I only have ONE (crappy iPod) picture of Gabe and his very first Gap, but her it is nonetheless:

And here is his darling note to the Tooth Fairy:

And the little tiny tooper itself.  It first poked through when Gabie was just five months old!

Unfortunately, the tooth fairy had a difficult time finding Gabe's tooth.  She left a $2 bill and some change anyway.  Gabe found the tooth and cried again and wrote another note.  I told him to put it under his pillow again so that she could take what was rightfully hers.

Here is his second note:
 "Dear tooth Fariy,
You did Not get
My tooth. I hid it
under mY Lamp, but
My mom saw it. I
Started to cry.
Love Your freind
Gabe.

And now, Gabe has a big, beautiful adult tooth in its place!  It's been just over 3 months and the tooth next to this one has a gap forming around it so it is next to come out!  Hopefully, the tooth fairy will be able to find the next tooth the first night!

Soccer Rocker!

Along with Gabe being in baseball, Elisa got signed up to play soccer!  Her friend's dad was the coach.  Luckily I didn't have to buy her any soccer gear because we had it already, leftover from when Gabe played soccer when he was just barely 3 (yes, he had/has BIG feet!).  Elisa was so excited to play soccer!  She was on a team with a bunch of boys and her and her friend Abby were pretty much the only girls.  For awhile, Elisa was quite aggressive with the ball, but then she seemed to back off a little bit when a couple of the boys started being ball hogs.  But generally Elisa played quite well.  Upon walking to her very first soccer game, she tripped and scraped her knee.  She cried on my lap for 3/4 of the game.  Finally she stopped and played like nothing happened. She was a pretty good sport for most of the practices and Games, but every once in a while she would go off and do her own thing in the field, but for a 4-year-old, she did great! Elisa loved playing soccer, but her favorite part was getting her trophy at the last game!  I'm deciding if we should put her in soccer again, or give baseball a try.  Either way, I'm sure she will do great!
