Valentine's Day 2018

Another fun Valentine's Day! Here are the pictures:

I made Elisa a new dress for Valentine's day.  She picked out the chocolate covered strawberry fabric at Joanns. I think it turned out super cute! She wore it to church the Sunday before Valentine's day, but hasn't worn it since.  I was hoping she'd wear it to school, but she refused and insisted on wearing another shirt that was way too big for her:
Ian wearing the vest I made for Gabe years ago, that matched a Christmas dress of Elisa's.

 So sweet!

Of course the kids got spoiled by Mommy and Daddy for Valentine's day cuz we just love them so much!

I got Elisa a doll that turns into a cupcake and visa versa.  She smells good, too!
Elisa loved her unicorn Valentine that I made for her!

I'll post it in a bit, but I made Gabe a book.  He has a love/hate relationship with it.  He doesn't like that he's a character in the book that farts.  He does like it because its funny!

I got Gabe some putty that comes with a light that can write on it.  The kids were pretty enamored with it for awhile, but since they are seemingly incapable of putting anything away, it dried out so I threw it all away a day or so later.

I got Erik some circus animal cookies and some other random stuff, and he got me a brand new touch-screen computer! In reality, its not really mine, not really.  It sure is nice, a little slower than what I was hoping it would be, but our old one barely starts anymore so its nice to have somewhere safe (i.e. that won't crash) for my music library and my pictures to be.

A touch screen computer is easy for 3-year-old Ian to use!

The old computer still works-barely-so when it does, its convenient if more than one kid wants to play on it.

We had a babysitter come watch the kids while Erik and I went out for Valentine's day dinner.  We had a different place in mind originally, but we didn't make reservations and the wait was too long so we (well, Erik) picked another place to eat, that actually didn't have a wait at all: Flemming's Steak House.  Erik had been there several times but I had never been so I was happy to be eating there.  The food was delicious.  I ordered steak (of course!) and Erik ordered lobster.  We decided that the steak was better than the lobster.  We also ordered a chocolate turtle cake and it was super yummy, even the whipped cream on top was amazing:

Ian is 3!

As of January 24th, Ian turned 3!  We didn't have a big friends party, but Grandma and Grandpa came over so that was just as good.  I can't believe Ian is 3 already! He still seems like he should still be my little baby and not a big toddler who sings the ABC's!  Ian had a great birthday party.  I made him a ABC cake and a new shirt!  His main gift was a tablet that we ordered off of Amazon. Ian's favorite part of his birthday party was us singing Happy Birthday to him! He loved it so much that he insisted we sing to him again, and then again! He enjoyed all of his new presents, too.

Ian, birth to age 3.  So beautiful and adorable!

Mr. Cheeseball and his new shirt!

Ian's silly birthday cake.  I found a candy alphabet at the grocery store.  It was perfect because it required very little work on my part, and Ian loved it!

The happy birthday boy loves his ABC cake!

Wait....come back and blow out your candle!

Happy birthday to...Mommy! Lol!

Opening up his tablet.

 That belly!

I love this Mac n Cheese face!

Ian loves his huge ball that I got at Goodwill for a buck.  So do Gabe and Elisa!

We love having Ian in our family! He is a hilarious, kind, and smart little boy.  Not to mention super adorable with his sparkling blue eyes and cute button nose.  I love watching him grow and learn.  He will always be my little baby!

Ian's 3-Year Portraits

Here are Ian's 3-year portraits from JCPenny.  I know JCPenny doesn't always take amazing portraits, but this time the blame is on Ian for how poorly these turned out.  He was so grumpy and uncooperative that we were only able to get one good shot, and even that good shot wasn't all that great.  Here are the pictures.  You can see for yourself that they weren't print-worthy:

The one and only picture I got printed out.

Worthless

Erik took Gabe and Elisa to Castles and Coasters one Saturday.  Then he came back home to pick up me and Ian. Why? To celebrate our worthlessness!  Our net worth hit $0, so after Castles and Coasters, we went to dinner at Portillo's for hot dogs.  Here are some pictures from Castles and Coasters:
Gabe's face! Haha!

There is no fee to be inside the park, but there is if you want to ride any ride.  I did not want to ride any rides so I just waited with Ian and took some pictures:
After the park, we went and got some hotdogs.  Elisa ordered a tuna sandwich, which I'm surprised she ordered, but not surprised that she didn't finish.  I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak that I don't think had cheese.  The meat was good, but nothing else was great about it.
