Christmas Portraits 2014

I almost didn't get Christmas portraits this year because I didn't feel like sending out cards.  But I did anyway.  I even made the kids matching outfits.  I didn't make anything too Christmas-y because we already had Christmas outfits from last year that still fit both of them.
The portraits were okay this year.  Not amazing, but I think we go a couple of cute ones in there. When you go to JCPenny to get portraits taken, you really get what you pay for!  There's only so far the cuteness of the kids can go when it comes to portraits.  Sometimes these photographers at JCPenny just plain do not know what they're doing!

I was debating between these two...I chose the lower one but I also really like the top one too!

This one made it to the card!

Gabe used to be the easiest little guy to photograph.  But in this session, he ruined most of the pictures by giving an awful, cheesy, fake grin that just looks stupid.  Ugh!  But Elisa gave cute, pretty smiles at least!
Gabe, thanks for trying to be a clown.

This ones actually sort of cute, but not card-worthy.

This one was so bad I just cut Gabe out!

 Awkward. GABE, darn it!!

 Cute, but still awkward.

This one got printed out.  I'm not a fan of the legs oddly spread out
My favorite!  I take credit for this pose, as I suggested it.  I got a print-out of it, and it even got framed!

  Awkward, both of them

Cute, except Elisa's hairbow blocks some of Gabe's face.

FINALLY a cute one of Gabe, but now its Elisa's turn to ruin the picture! I just can't win!!

Our Christmas card!  Next year I hope to get the entire family in there.

  1. Your comments are hilarious, but I love all of these pictures. They aren't as bad as you think, and in a few years you'll be glad you have them. You made a good choice of the ones you printed. They look so cute together!
