Christmas!

Its that time of year again (okay, was--I am continuously 3 months behind)!  Everyone's favorite holiday--Christmas!

We celebrated this year by making the kids their annual Christmas jammies.  This years' turned out really cute!  Elisa picked out her own fabric (hot chocolate) and I picked Gabe's (robots and spaceships--I couldn't find any trains) at Joanns at the black Friday sale.  I think I paid $7 or less for each pair which isn't too bad.  They were fun to make too, and the kids love them!

Making gingerbread cookies is our new tradition, as of 2013.  The kids enjoy making them as much as they do eating them:

Last year at Walmart I found a Christmas train gel window cling  for $1.50, but I couldn't find it again this year.  But I did find a Christmas train in the regular window cling for twice as much, but it didn't tear apart like the gel one last year.

We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Makayla over for Christmas!  I'm not sure if the kids were more excited for Christmas, or having Grandparents over! They got spoiled with presents and attention.

A Christmas Eve dance! Elisa wanted to show off her new ballerina dress and dancing skills for everyone.  Aunt Makayla showed Elisa a few dance moves, and she just loved it!

The kids are just way too spoiled.  The above box is Gabe's stocking stuffers.  The bottoms is Elisa's stocking stuffers.

"Santa" came to stuff the stockings (way too full!)

"Santa's" work after the kids went to bed.  Yep, the spoiled kids got new bikes.  Gabe's we got super cheap at Toys R Us's black Friday sale, and Elisa's Lalaloopsy bike made up for the low price tag on Gabe's bike.

Christmas Day!  I'll just post all of the pictures because they portray the day way better than I can type it!

One of the kids took this picture.  I believe it is all the adults in the kitchen getting Christmas dinner together.
Gabe and his annual Christmas gingerbread train.  The kids didn't really eat much of this "gingerbread" after eating the real stuff that I make!

An irritated Erik after having to re-shuffle (for the 3rd time) the new card game (Love Letters) that he got for Christmas because we kept forgetting to give him all of the cards.  Poor Erik.

I think we all had a great Christmas!  The kids sure had a good time and it was nice to have family come to town.

  1. Nice Christmas pictures that cover just about everything that happened, even the one Gabe must have taken.
