Waaaay back in December 2015, Gabe insisted that I take the training wheels off of his bike (I had mentioned earlier to him that I wanted him to by able to ride without training wheels before he turns 7). So I agreed. It was about time for him to learn to ride without training wheels, and I was not about to let Gabe pass up a chance to be brave and learn something new. Besides, I was 6 years old when I learned to ride without training wheels. At first, Gabe was excited. But I must be a poor teacher because Gabe got very frustrated very quickly and the training wheels soon made their way back on the bike.
Gabe was so excited for the wheels to come off of his bike.
Off it went!
Having a go at it.
Nope.
Definitely nope!
Poor Gabe. Stay tuned for the next post! It ends happily! Double the happy!!
Poor Gabe! Erik was almost 7 when we moved to AZ where he learned to ride his bike. The sidewalk was too hilly in SLC, and the one in AZ was flat.
