May 4
Girly had fun playing in band! They played a bunch of short songs. ***************************************************************
Gabe had his band concert about a week later, May 11th. I think the 7th graders were a bit behind since covid, but they've improved a lot since then. Grandma and Grandpa came down to see the concert. Afterwards, we let Gabe choose what/where he wanted to eat. He chose Wendy's.

The next evening was Elisa's choir concert. This was her (our) first time at the school choir concert. She had joined morning choir in 2020 but that all stopped in March of that year. This last school year (2021-2022) choir resumed as normal, although Elisa joined halfway through the year for day choir. Her choir teacher is super enthusiastic and obviously very happy to teach to sing! It was fun watching the kids sing, even if Elisa was far away or completely obscured by other bodies. Elisa even had a singing solo! She seemed to enjoy being in choir. Since she doesn't care too much for piano, maybe she can sing instead! After the concert, she chose pizza for dinner so we all (Grandma and Grandpa too!) went to Barro's pizza.

Trying to find Elisa...where is she??
We found her!
Can you find the Elisa in the sea of faces?
We finally got a closer view of Elisa, but the sun shone down on her face so brightly it was hard to see her!

The concerts were very good for the grade they're in. They played very well. Elisa's birthday turned out to be a fun time.
