Here are the few pictures we took for Mother's Day May 8 2022. Mother's day was of course on a Sunday. At church, I was given a chocolate chip big cookie made by Sweetez bakery. Erik made a fancy yummy smoked pork loin stuffed with stuffing and rolled up into a pinwheel. The kids didn't care for it too much but I liked it. There was a ton leftover, but I just cut it up and stuck it freezer bags to freeze so we can enjoy it another time. I can't remember if we had dessert or not! Erik might have made cookies but neither of us remember either way.

Next came the gifts! Erik got me scissors. Lots of scissors because the kids keep using my good sewing scissor to cut who knows what and then they get dull and useless. Gabe got me nothing, Elisa made something at school for me but never gave it to me (I found it in her backpack weeks later). Ian gave me a card he made for me in school:

That smoked pork loin looks delicious! Nice to have enough scissors, and homemade gifts from the kids are the best!
