Ian and his buddy, James, had been wanting to go to the train park again...aka the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. So we set a date: Saturday May 4th. The only date we had available anyway, so it worked out. We went in the morning. Gabe wanted to come, and then at the last minute, Ian and James' other buddy, Adam, wanted to come with us, so I took all four boys to down to Scottsdale to enjoy the park. All of them at a little bit of their own money, so I let them get what they wanted. They picked out a few things from the shop, and even some ice cream cones and snacks from the little cafeteria. Mostly, we did the same things we always do when we go there: ride the train and look at the model trains. Ian was grumpy about something, can't remember what, but I think it was about something Gabe said. So, for the first half of the visit Ian sat off by himself and wouldn't look at the camera. After awhile he got over whatever it was that was bothering him and had fun with his friends looking at all the trains and just being silly! No one was interested in riding the carousel or playing on the playground; the gift shop and model trains held the most interest for the boys. After about two hours, we left the park after a fun look at all those trains.
