I thought this picture I randomly found on the internet was funny, now that I play organ.

I have been asked to be 1st Counselor for the Young Women's program at my church. I've had that job before and it was horrible, but that was years ago. It's better this time around, especially since I have Elisa in there! This is a picture of my first activity. The girls were given a few roses to hand out randomly to strangers shopping at the store. We were surprised at how grumpy, suspicious, and unaccepting some people were of a free rose, but there were others who really appreciated it.

This is how Ian fell asleep: Knees up and clutching his stuffie!

I bought a foam head at Michaels, and Elisa and I tried to make a creepy head out of it. Unfortunately, we could only find one eyeball and I didn't have enough skin-colored clay to shape her face, so we gave up.

On this morning, I played for a baptism and then took Elisa and her friend Lily shopping at Ross, World Market, and the Dollar Tree. Along the way, I lost my Hawaii ring. I have no idea how or where. Elisa had fun picking out clothes with her friend.

I went with Elisa and the YW to a marching band concert, which happily coincided with her band project. After the concert, we went to McDonalds for ice cream.

My cute smart Ian got on the Principal's List (straight A's). There was an award ceremony for all the 4th graders that got on the honor roll and Principal's List, complete with cookies at the end! We are so proud of Ian!

I bought a new pattern for some flowy, wide leg pants. Elisa okayed the pattern and even picked out the fabric but decided that the pants looked like she was wearing "garbage bags" and resigned to never wear them again.

Hooray for Ian getting all A's and on the Principal's List!
