March Random Happenings

Here are some random fun things we did in the month of March:

March 11
Dinner at 5 Guys. I had a BOGO free coupon so we went, all of us except Elisa, who doesn't like burgers, and never has.

March 13
I sent this to Tootsie because she believes in numerology. I stopped my audiobook, and these are the numbers that it stopped on. I absolutely did not do it on purpose!

March 21
I took Gabe to the train swap meet in Glendale. Erik stayed home because we were getting a new air conditioner (top floor), including a new vent in our room and Elisa's room since they've always been too hot. Anyway, Gabe found himself a few trains, and I bought him a can of sprite. He got a few things for free as well--a calendar, some magazines, and even a few trains that some nice old men were happy to give this young, aspiring train collector.

March 22
I made myself some yummy protein waffles with healthy-ish toppings. Strawberries and macadamia nuts, and peanut butter, banana, and chia seeds. Ian saw these and made himself some. Except he didn't like the macadamia nuts; I saw that they had been scrapped in the trash.

March 23
Another good find at Goodwill. I found this cute rose cup and saucer made in England, and I immediately snatched it up. My goal is to have complete and completely mis-matched tea set.

I asked Chat GPT to turn Ian into an adult. I don't know if this is how he will look, I guess we'll find out! I have a feeling his nose will be not so tiny as this picture. I intend to keep this picture forever, and then compare when he turns 18 or so.

  1. Gabe must have had a great time at the train swap meet. That's a pretty cup and saucer from England. Over the years I've collected a few made in England, mostly found on clearance from home goods. That's a nice picture of Ian. I think he might look like that when he's older.
