CA Trip, Part II

The next day of our California trip was just as fun! Our first stop was a little amusement park called Adventure City. It was just perfect for the kids. It was a relativity small park with a handful of rides.  The best thing was that there were virtually no lines, the entire time we were there.  We all just walked on every ride. If we're counting by rides, we probably paid less that $1 per ride per kid!  The kids sure enjoyed this little park! I'm glad we had the opportunity to try out this little park.  Here are the pictures:
Ian in the "bus"

 Gabe on the train

Gabe was too big to ride these pedal-trains.  He almost cried but he got over it.

Erik and the kids on the Freeway Coaster.  I went on this one and I think I didn't like it because it was too jerky.
Elisa on the hot air balloon ride

Gabe standing by his favorite character, Thomas the Train!

The kids on the Giggle Wheel.

More of the kids on the Freeway Coaster

 The petting zoo
Not pictured: the Rewind Racers roller coaster ride.  It was actually a pretty neat roller coaster and we all rode it at least 5 times, with not wait in line!

Later that evening, we all went to Medieval Times.  I have always wanted to go there, so I was pretty excited about going!  It was pretty fun.  It wasn't blow-me-out-of-the-water amazing, but still I think we all had a good time.  The food was good and the entertainment was- well, entertaining.  Elisa seemed to like it, Ian was indifferent, and Gabe had mixed feelings.  We were put on the blue team.  Our knight didn't win, but no matter.  The food was pretty good.  It was a LOT of food!  A half chicken each person, plus soup, sides, drinks, and dessert.
Elisa! She cheered and had a good time!

Gabie.  I think he liked it. Maybe?  It's hard to tell sometimes with him.

Ian sat on my lap the whole time and picked at my food.

A shadow-y picture of Erik and I.  I swear we are better-looking in person.

It was hard to get a good picture of the arena.

Ian and I.  I love this lovely, lovey-dove kid!
My little princess caught the carnation thrown to her by our knight!

We had just enough time the next morning (Saturday) to do something fun.  We tried to go to the Swap Meet but it was closed.  So we went to the Packing House instead.  I've never heard of the Packing house before; Erik found out about it through a search of "things to do in Anaheim" on the internet. It used to be a house that packed fruits (hence the name "packing house"), but now its just a hodge-podge mix of restaurants, eateries, and the like under one roof.  We met up with my friend Autumn again! We went our own way when it came time to pick out what food we wanted.  I choose some Vietnamese loaded sweet potato fries.  They were yummy and only $6.  Erik choose a pulled pork sandwich.  The kids choose some cute animal-face ice cream cones! After enjoying lunch at the Packing House, we said goodbye to Autumn and headed home.

 BFFs!
